Message from Amanda:

When I accepted the role of public servant, that means it is my duty to serve and represent the people. The City of Hanford continually faces its trials and opportunities. This requires maintaining experienced leadership for positive results in District A.  It has been a privilege and pleasure to serve my community this past term, it would be an honor to continue. We have been able to make great strides in our community, and there is still plenty of work to be done!

Hidden Valley Park Clean-Up Day

We brought some much needed positive attention to Hidden Valley Park! This park has had some controversy surrounding it for over 5 decades, I’m proud to be a part of a council that has made a decision to rezone the 18 acres to be returned back to parkland. We have allocated $75k to the 18 acres which is a positive start. A big thank you to all who showed up in support of this ongoing project.

Dedication of the Western Regional Vietnam Wall Memorial

It was such an honor to witness the dedication of the Western Regional Vietnam Wall Memorial, “No One Left Behind” ceremony. If you have not gotten a chance to go see and maybe you even know a fallen hero that is on the wall, please make the trip out to Dinuba to go see it. I am so grateful to our military soldiers, they fight and sacrifice for our nation so that we have freedom and liberty!
